1. This Privacy Policy defines the rules for data processing when using the mobile application “Mikołów”, intended for exploring the city of Mikołów (hereinafter: the “Application”).

3. The Application has been developed for the purposes of the City Hall of Mikołów.
4. The developer makes every effort to ensure that the Application is safe to use and that users’ privacy is protected.

2. Personal Data

1. Use of the Application does not require creating an account or providing personal data.
2. The Application does not collect, store, or process users’ personal data.

3. Location Data 

1. The Application may use the device’s location function in order to:
   • display the user’s current position on the map,
   • facilitate navigation within the city and finding tourist attractions.
2. Location data:
   • is used only during the use of the Application,
   • is not stored or transmitted to the Application developer.
3. The user may disable location access at any time in their device settings.

4. Third-Party Services 

1.  The Application uses third-party services, in particular mapping services such as Google Maps or Apple Maps. These services may process certain technical data, such as:
   • location data.
2. The rules for data processing by these services are defined in their respective privacy policies (e.g. Google’s privacy policy).

5. Security 

The Application does not store user data. All functions operate locally on the user’s device or via external mapping services. 

6. Changes to the Privacy Policy 

This Privacy Policy may be updated in the event of changes to the functionality of the Application or changes in applicable law.
